Irish Scientists Have Talent

BT Young Scientist are running an exciting all-island competition called Irish Scientists Have Talent, to reach and discover new special acts entertainers for the BTYSTE virtual stage in January. This presents an opportunity for scientific entertainers and educators across the island of Ireland to exhibit their pre-recorded show on the BTYSTE virtual stage every day of the event. The competition is now open, with two winners to be chosen with a prize fund of €1,000 each.

We are looking for new special acts that are educators, performers or people working within this space with a love for science and innovation.

The two winners include an overall winner; deemed best by our judges, and a people’s choice winner; voted from the top 5 contestants on our social platforms.

Each will secure a prize fund of €1,000 and a chance to pre-record a show (at a place and venue agreed with BT) that will be broadcast as part of On-Stage at BTYSTE once a day on Wednesday 6th – Friday 8th January 2021.

Entries should include:

A video showcasing or describing your performance (max 3 minutes long).

To enter applicants should submit this short application form before the end of November.
